Think Tanks. Über Orte des Denkens

Erste Sitzung: Freitag 15. April 2011, 14:15-15:45 Uhr, C 5.326

Das Seminar widmet sich an ausgewählten historischen Beispielen dem Denken von und in Think Tanks. Betrachtet werden dabei einzelne Institutionen (Franklin Institute, Brookings Institution, ORO, RAND, Mont Pelerin Society u.a.), bestimmte Medien, Architekturen und Kreativitätstechniken (Simulation, Scenario-Entwicklung, Brainstorming etc.) sowie unterschiedliche Konzepte von Forschung, Wissen und Beratung. Die Bereitschaft zu eigenständiger Forschungsarbeit wird vorausgesetzt.

Studienleistung: Kurzreferate mit Thesenpapier, abschließende Seminararbeit (12-15 Seiten)
